Fees and Insurance

Using Health Insurance

While we accept some insurance plans to improve accessibility, it’s important to consider how using insurance may impact your care:

Autonomy & Privacy
Insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis, limit session quantity, and review your treatment plan—which can affect your confidentiality and control over your therapy. If you’re seeking support for life transitions, personal growth, or concerns that don’t fit a diagnosable condition, insurance may deny coverage. Many clients choose to pay out-of-pocket to protect their privacy, avoid higher deductible fees, and to ensure their care isn’t dictated by an insurer.

Financial Responsibility

  • You are responsible for all fees, regardless of insurance reimbursement.

  • If a claim is denied, your card on file will be charged for the session fee (you’ll always be notified first).

  • As an out-of-network provider, we can provide invoices for you to submit for potential reimbursement—but approval is at your insurer’s discretion.
